We are indeed living in strange times and as conscious dancers we can turn to our practice as a refuge, to ground ourselves, breathe and come back to our center. We can dance with the intensity, dance out the poisons of stress and balance ourselves again.
We can do this at home or even better in community. Because in community we can share the space of practice and help each other be present, showing up and being there with whatever is true for us at the moment. This practice and community is such a gift to be nurtured and protected and we need to nurture and protect each other as much as we do so for ourselves.
Here is a let’s stay healthy protocol for class:
Please stay home if you have any cold/flu symptoms or if you have been traveling in areas where a virus is known to be present.
Utilize the hand sanitizer provided at the front desk.
Please don’t touch anyone without consent.
Please know this protocol is implemented with love, care, and prevention at heart. Please know it is a process that will change with more information, community input and community needs.
Let’s keep dancing. Let’s keep centering, grounding and breathing. Practice self-care. Practice community care. Stay mindful. Stay kind.
